Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

1. Preamble

​

The company 'Education Services Africa' (ESA), SARL with a capital of 50,000 Moroccan dirhams, registered in the commercial register of the Court of Casablanca under number RC 495083, whose registered office is at Espace Porte d'Anfa, 3 rue Bab El Mansour, Casablanca, issues ISIC, IYTC and ITIC cards on Moroccan territory and publishes the site  www.myisic.ma .

The name ISIC card also includes in this document the ITIC card (International Teacher Identity Card) and the IYTC card (International Youth Travel Card).

These General Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as T&Cs) govern the terms of use of the ISIC card and the www.myisic.ma site, as well as the contractual provisions relating to the respective rights and obligations of the parties.

By using the ISIC card, registering or using the www.myisic.ma website, the User declares to have read and unreservedly accepted the current version of these T&Cs.

2. Definitions

​

The terms mentioned below have the following meaning in these T&Cs:

  • “User”: any natural person in possession of a valid ISIC card or who has applied for the issuance of an ISIC card, using the myisic.ma website

  • “Publisher”, “Company”, “ESA”: refers to Education Services Africa, company issuing the ISIC card on Moroccan territory and publisher of the site www.myisic.ma

  • “Site”: website developed and operated by ESA and whose URL address is as follows: www.myisic.ma

  • “ISIC card”: The ISIC card (International Student Identity Card) is an international student card whose status is recognized by UNESCO. This card gives its holders access to advantages and discounts in Morocco and abroad. 

  • “Content”: reductions, images, data, databases, software, offers, texts, videos, hypertext links, logos, and all elements present on the ISIC card and the Site.

 

3. Presentation

The Site www.myisic.ma lists all the advantages and discounts intended for ISIC cardholders. Any Internet user can browse the Site freely. However, to benefit from these reductions (promo codes, ticketing, etc.), you must first become an ISIC member and hold an ISIC card.

The User will be, to become an ISIC member, invited to provide the following precise and exact information:

  • Firstname name

  • School (except IYTC card)

  • Date of Birth

  • E-mail

  • Telephone

  • Gender

  • ID photo

  • Proof of student (ISIC card) or teacher (ITIC) status

He must also pay the requested amount using one of the payment solutions offered.

The data provided is only used to verify and validate his profile and allow him to access all ISIC discounts. The User's bank details are not kept by the Publisher. 

 

4. Obligation of Users

​

The allocation of an ISIC card to a bearer is individual. It is subject to verification of full-time student status during the current school year (or teacher status on the ITIC card), the provision of an identity photograph and, in the case of an ISIC card order made online, payment of the amount requested.

The services provided by ISIC are made available to Users for strictly personal use. You may not distribute or use these services to sell products or services, to increase third-party website traffic, for commercial purposes (sales, promotion, advertising, etc.), or to his personal profit.

When ordering an ISIC card, the User undertakes to provide exact information, in particular on his date of birth, his surname, his first name, his establishment, his photo ID and his school certificate (or teacher if applicable). Any false or inaccurate statement and/or omission may engage its civil liability and expose it to criminal penalties. In the event that the information provided by the User proves to be false or obsolete, ESA reserves the right to suspend or close his ISIC account and cancel his ISIC card, without notice or reimbursement.  

Under no circumstances should the user use the ISIC contents by reuse and display, nor reproduce ISIC pages on any third-party website. If the User wishes to incorporate or reproduce content from the ISIC Site on another website, he must contact ISIC by e-mail at  infos@isic.a frica.

If a company wishes to announce, highlight content or information of a commercial, promotional or advertising nature, it must send an e-mail to:   infos@isic.africa
 

5. Responsibility of ESA for the content

ESA makes every effort to ensure that the information accessible via the Site is accurate and up-to-date. Despite the care taken in processing information, the Company declines all responsibility for errors or omissions in the information published on its site. ESA accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, content, completeness, legitimacy, reliability, operability or availability of the information or data displayed by the ISIC site. ESA accepts no responsibility for the deletion, alteration, failure to store, incorrect transmission or untimely transmission of such information or student benefit data. ESA does not accept any responsibility for damages that may result from the display of certain content that is not negotiated and set up directly for ISIC, but lists a general student offer to which the User has access with his valid ISIC card. The conditions of use are then to be checked on the website of the brand mentioned. This offer is subject to cancellation or modification without notice from the brand mentioned.

ESA may receive requests from people who wish to comment, amend, modify or even delete certain functionalities or certain content or certain links referenced on the Site. ESA reserves the right to deal with these requests on a case-by-case basis. For any comments relating to the content, links or features, please contact us at infos@isic.africa .

 

6. Data Privacy


The information requested from you is necessary to process your order and is treated confidentially.
In accordance with Law No. 09-08 promulgated by Dahir 1-09-15 of February 18, 2009, relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access and rectification of information concerning you, which you can exercise by sending an email to infos@isic.africa or by post to the following address: ESA, 3 rue Bab El Mansour, Imm C, 1st floor, BU n ° 3, Casablanca.

7. Privacy Policy

​

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy; our privacy policy sets out how we collect, use and share information that identifies or relates to you (“personal data”).

7.1.  Personal data processed

​

The personal data collected and processed by ESA are as follows: surname, first name, date of birth, e-mail, telephone, gender, photo ID, school or teacher certificate (ISIC and ITIC cards). For a plastic ISIC card purchase, we also ask you to provide us with a postal address for the shipping of these orders and for billing. 

You can share information about our benefits on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), using the sharing buttons. We remind you that access to these social networks requires acceptance of their terms of use, regardless of our pages on said Social Networks. To find out more about the protection of your personal data when browsing these social networks, we invite you to consult their respective privacy policies.

7.2. Why and how do we collect your personal data?

​

ESA processes personal information in particular for the purpose mentioned below: to personalize and send an ISIC, IYTC or ITIC membership card in digital format (and plastic if requested) to allow members to access ISIC reductions anywhere in the world.
This processing has been declared to the CNDP under number DW-791/2021.
These Data are collected either on the basis of your consent, or are necessary for the execution of your orders (execution of a contract). This may include information you provide when you register to use the Site, fill out a form, correspond with us, make an ISIC card purchase, use discounts or subscribe to our newsletter.
We may also collect personal data about you from third parties such as educational institutions or partner banks providing the ISIC card to their students or customers. This may be combined with other information you provide to us, as described above. Each partner institution and bank of ESA is responsible for providing notice to its cardholders regarding the purposes for which it collects personal data and how such personal data is processed.

7.3. To whom are your personal data transmitted?

​

Your Data is processed by ESA. They will not be transferred or made accessible to any third party, subject to any subcontractors, for exclusively technical and logistical reasons, in particular:

  • The company GTS Alive in the Czech Republic, the purpose of which is to manage member data on behalf of the ESA Data Controller.

This transfer was declared to the CNDP under number TW-394/2021

  • The Global ISIC Association in Denmark whose purpose of processing is to enable ISIC, IYTC and ITIC members to be recognized as members and to have access to ISIC discounts worldwide.

This transfer was declared to the CNDP under number TW-203/2022

7.4. Your rights

​

You have the right to access and rectify your Data, as well as the right to request its erasure, to oppose its processing and to obtain its limitation or portability insofar as this is applies. The User has the option of completely refusing to provide us with personal information, in which case ESA may not be able to provide him with certain services, in particular the provision of the ISIC card.

These rights can be exercised directly with ESA by e-mail at infos@isic.africa or by post at the postal address: ESA, Espace Porte d'Anfa, 3 rue Bab El Mansour, ESA, 3 rue Bab El Mansour, Imm C, 1st floor, BU n° 3, Casablanca. A proof of identity must be provided.

In addition, you can at any time request to no longer receive our communications relating to our offers, news and events by using the hypertext link provided for this purpose in each email that we send to you.

7.5. Duration of retention of personal data

​

The ISIC card is valid for a period of 12 months from the month of purchase.

ESA retains the data needed to issue an ISIC card for 6 months after the expiry of the card. This data will then be automatically deleted.

A user can request the deletion of his personal data during the validity of his card. This will prevent him from using his ISIC card digitally and only on direct presentation.

8. Cancel an order paid by credit card


You cannot be reimbursed for your card order once it has been validated, manufactured and shipped by ESA.

We only reimburse orders made on the www.myisic.ma site that do not comply with the conditions of eligibility and allocation to the cards defined in article 7 above. In this case, refunds will be made, less a penalty of 50 Moroccan dirhams, within a period of less than or equal to 30 days. The refund will be made by crediting your bank account for orders paid by credit card.

9. Right of withdrawal

​

From the date of delivery of your order, you have a period of 7 days to assert your right of withdrawal, and be fully reimbursed. The costs of returning the goods remain your responsibility. However, only goods returned in perfect condition, complete and in their original (unopened) packaging can be refunded.

The customer must send his request for the right of withdrawal by email to infos@isic.africa . Returns of goods must be made to the following address: ESA, 3 rue Bab El Mansour, Imm C, 1st floor, BU n° 3, Casablanca.

10. Warranty

​

All products sold on www.myisic.ma are guaranteed against manufacturing defects and material defects. The duration of this guarantee is at least one year (from the date of invoice). In the event of return of material proving to be non-defective, transport and handling costs may be invoiced to the customer. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse or negligence.

11. Proof of transactions paid by credit card

​

The data recorded by the CMI on the online payment platform on behalf of ESA constitutes proof of commercial transactions between you and ESA. 

​

12. Force majeure

​

ESA is only held to perform its obligations insofar as no event of force majeure comes to hinder them.

​

13. Applicable law

​

All the clauses appearing in these general conditions of sale will be subject to Moroccan law.
